Yoshie was born May 10, 1934 in Hokkaido, Japan. She was the oldest of 8 children, 4 brothers and 3 sisters all still living in Japan. She was 21 when she met the love of her life, Bobby, a US Army Solider station in Japan. Soon after they were married and had their son Burt. By 1958 they were transferred to the US where they had Valerie, born in Hawaii and Colleen, born in Nebraska. In 1972 they moved to California and bought their forever home in Campbell.
Yoshie was the Matriarch of the family. She was a great cook, who loved to host holidays and family parties and cook for everyone. She helped raise all 5 of her Grandkids and the garage was always open to friends and family. Her and Bobby loved to go to Reno, garden together, watch the kids sports…they did everything together.
Yoshie truly was the glue that kept the family traditions alive. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever. She will truly be missed.
