Souleye graduated from Leigh High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the San Jose State University, California. He worked in Retail, Banking and Law Enforcement.
He is survived by his loving mother Janet Gillis and father Sekou Dia. He is also survived by his sisters Ami Dia, Sally Dia and his nephew Dakharri Burns and best friend Jennifer Ramirez, as well as many relatives in Senegal, North America and Europe.
Souleye enjoyed the great outdoors, especially hiking, biking and working out.
Souleye’s loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
