Richard E. (Dick) Maze passed away on Monday June 11th after a lengthy illness. He touched many lives with his gentle spirit and positive outlook on life.
Dick was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to San Jose, California in 1966, where he worked for Mead Corporation. He was an avid fan of many sports, mainly the Chicago Cubs, SF Giants, and the SF 49ers. He was a co-Boy Scout Leader and a Lector at Holy Family Parish for 25 years.
Dick is survived by his loving wife, Noreen; devoted children Rick (Diane) Maze, Kathy (Ed) Matsche and grandchildren Kyle Maze, Stacie (Christopher) Simpkins, Mark Matsche, Michael Matsche and one great-granddaughter Charlie Simpkins. He is also survived by his sister Marge Petersen and brother Tom Maze. His generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Our family is grateful for the skill and dedication of Dad’s many caregivers who treated him with compassion and respect throughout his final years.
