Nancy passed away after a 62-day attempt in ICU to recover from cancer surgery. Her beloved husband, Richard, spent all the 62 days by her bedside from 8am to 7pm, seven days a week until her passing.
Nancy was born in Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan. She was the youngest of seven siblings. Born to Mr. & Mrs. Hajime & Yoshiko Nakano. After emigrating to the USA at the age of five, Nancy went on to graduate high school and Beautician's College and was quickly hired by Pan American Airways because of her bilingual capabilities and her beautician's degree. Her career as a flight attendant spanned 46 years with two major airlines- Pan America and United. She retired in 2015 with United. Nancy's hobbies were golfing with her sister at Almaden Gold Club and with the Sunnyvale Women's Golf Club. She loved the frequent trips to Reno & Alaskan cruises with her husband.
Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Richard; sisters: Setsuko, Yoshie and Fumiko.; Nephews: Mr. & Mrs. Yoji Mineishi, Mr. & Mrs. Eiji Mineishi and her much loved nieces: Ava and Elann.
