Mary passed away on Tuesday after a 25+ year struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. She touched everyone she met with her peaceful spirit, sense of humor, willingness to work hard, and zest for life. She loved gardening, playing games (especially Bingo), music, and watching movies.
Mary was born in Edinburg, Texas and moved to California in 1961. She worked a long career at Control Data Systems before Parkinson’s forced her to retire.
Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Priscilla, her son-in-law Dan, and her three grandsons Max, Alex, and Charlie as well as her eight brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Fred.
Many thanks to the caring staff at Pacific Gardens and Hospice of the Valley.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at 5pm and a rosary at 6pm at Darling & Fischer Campbell on Thursday, May 24th and a funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours Church at 11:00am on Friday, May 25th.
