James Glenn was born to Jim and Jane Babb on March 23, 2001. James Glenn Babb is known by many names. James Glenn, J. Glenn, J. G., Jigglin, Chubbs, Hell Bent and Little Buddy. James Glenn had a gift of bringing people together. He was authentic, honest, unapologetic, genuine, kind, loving, gentle and he had a wicked sense of humor. He loved his family and friends deeply. He was an amazing son, brother and friend. He experienced so much in his 21 years. He lived his life to the fullest with no regrets.
James Glenn had many passions. He had a love of animals, video games, recording and writing music, percussion, building anything out of Legos, competitive paintball, snowboarding, tattoos, drifting at the track, working on cars with his friends and a love of motorcycles. His passions helped him through some of his tough times. He was a nonconformist and always had a life plan. There was never a doubt that he was going to accomplish his dreams.
James Glenn left this world suddenly on April 17, 2022. He was on his Sunday afternoon motorcycle ride with a close friend doing what he loved. After this tragic event his family is deeply moved by the messages we have received from the community expressing the positive impact his young soul had on so many.
James Glenn is survived by his mother, Jane Babb; brother, Mason Babb; grandparents, Angie and John Pavelko; uncle, Jerry Babb and wife, Julie; aunts, Peggy Koehl, Nola Werren, Christine Tvaroch and husband, Rick; cousins, Nicole Ryan and husband Rex, Ian Babb and wife Courtney, Christopher Koehl and wife Ursula, Alexander and Christopher Tvaroch, Elaine and Maggie Werren and his beloved Australian Shepherd, Mylo “the magnificent merle.”
James Glenn was predeceased by his adoring father, Jim Babb; grandparents, Charles “Pop” Hogan, J. Glenn and Phyllis “Mamaw and Papaw” Babb and dearly loved cousin Abbigail Koehl.
A tribute in James Glenn’s honor is being held on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Los Gatos Lodge. This is a place and time to visit and memorialize Chubbs. If you have a favorite photo with James Glenn please bring it to leave with Jane and Mason.
