On May 23, 1925, In Henderson Kentucky, our mother and love one, Gladys May Tucker was born to the union of Will Walker and Edna Walker. In 1950 she moved to Merced, California with her husband Robert L. Tucker Sr, who died in 1965, and her children. Gladys graduated from Henderson High School, and went to college where she took home economics.
Mother had a small business working and helping other families and their needs with the skills she received from her education, still raising her children seeing that they be their best at all they desired to be.
She was baptized at a young age, loving the Lord and teaching her family to honor God in all they do until their death.
Mother leaves to cherish her memory seven children, Pastor Robert L. Tucker and wife Linda Tucker, of Pittsburg, CA. Mr. Donald Tucker of Sacramento, CA, Mr. Terry Tucker and wife Rizza of San Jose, CA, Mr. Ernest Tucker and Wife Loretta of Tulare, CA, Mr. Lee Edward Tucker, Ms Margret Tucker of San Jose, CA, Mrs. Debera Tucker of Sacramento, CA, and a great host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mother also leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Mrs. Ella Thomas of Henderson, Kentucky, and two nephews.
