Emerson James McIntyre passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2021 at Valley Medical Center in San Jose Ca. He was only 31 years old. Emerson was born in Pasadena Ca. on June 18, 1989. He moved to Los Gatos Ca. with his family in 1992. He attended Van Meter Elementary School, Fisher Middle School, Los Gatos High School (‘07) Santa Barbara City College and graduated with a BA in marketing from Northern Arizona State University in (‘12). He lived and worked in Brooklyn N.Y. for five years after graduation. Emerson was always a very kind, happy, sensitive and thoughtful boy and young man. He was a very talented and creative designer and entrepreneur, serving as Director of Customer Experience and web designer for internet companies in both New York City and the Silicon Valley as well as starting his own mobile apps company with friends, always having the goal of becoming a great entrepreneur. He loved and was very loyal to his big family, his many friends, and his dogs. Emerson was a great cook and loved good food. He loved business ideas, great design and music, stylish clothes, exercising , was an excellent ice hockey player and an avid San Jose Sharks fan. Emerson’s family includes; mother, Lisa M. Lacy of Los Altos, Ca.; father, Scott C. McIntyre and stepmother, Ana M. McIntyre of Los Gatos, Ca.; brother, Ian C. McIntyre (deceased) of San Francisco, Ca., sister Pari M. McIntyre of Campbell, Ca.; brother, David F. McIntyre of Los Gatos, Ca.; grandparents, Donald F. McIntyre and Nancy E. McIntyre of Pasadena, Ca. and Marva C. Lacy (deceased) of Pasadena Ca., and Julius Lacy (deceased) of Los Angeles, Ca. and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Emerson will always be loved and dearly missed by his family and friends. He is only sleeping “resting in peace” but we look forward to seeing him again someday!
