David B. Lucero was born in El Paso, TX Dec 23, 1933, and entered eternal rest on January 14, 2022. He honorably served in the US air Force for six years and is a Korean War Veteran. He was stationed in Roswell, NM, Cheyenne Mountain Complex, WY, and then Japan for four years. During the Korean War he worked under General Douglas McArthur as a communication specialist transmitting and decoding Morse code and doing other Top Secret work. After separating from the Military, he traveled to several countries including Spain, Portugal, and Europe. He returned to Texas and then moved to Los Angeles where he opened a TV repair shop. During that time, he studied and obtained a degree in electronic engineering. After receiving a good job offer, he relocated to Redwood City and during that time he also found the love of his life Clara, at a dance who he was married to for 55 years. He worked for Fainon Corp., Frequency West, and was proud to have worked on the Minuteman Missile while in the military. After getting laid off in his early 50's he changed his career path and obtained a license in real estate. He also taught math at Sawyer college and volunteered as a tutor at CBT technical school. He also studied tax laws and passed the H&R Block for 10 years while also volunteering numerous community hours helping seniors prepare their taxes. During his life he did a lot of volunteer work. He enjoyed reading, studying gardening, computers and was avid in helping people out.
David was proceeded in death by his father, Jesus and his mother, Juana, and all of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Clara, his two children, Steve and Lisa, Steve's wife Alexandria, Lisa's husband Robert and his two grandsons Jonathan and Antonio.
