Constance Jean Weaver

December 15, 1943 ~ December 10, 2018 (age 74)

Constance Jean Weaver (Connie), loving wife to Daniel, passed away on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 in San Jose at age 74.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and artist who will be missed by her friends and family.

Connie was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York on December 15, 1943 to Stanley and Jean Kopec. She graduated from Hauppauge High School in Hauppauge, New York on Long Island. She also served as a Senior Member of the Civil Air Patrol, Long Island Group, New York Wing for 5 years. After high school, she attended secretarial school and worked as a Civil Service Secretary to the Commandant of the Long Island Army base before marrying Daniel on December 5, 1965. Children and raising a family came soon after. Daniel’s job brought her and their children to California in 1975. She later returned to college, earning an Associate in Arts degree from Mission College.  She was a voracious reader and very artistic enjoying anything creative including metalsmithing, jewelry making, ceramics, wire sculpting, sewing, quilting, art history, chocolate molding and cake decorating.  She loved visiting art and science museums.

Connie loved her family, adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. She will be remembered for her generous loving spirit, beautiful smile and constant playful laughter by her loving husband, Daniel; four children Joan Casaus (Victor) of Livermore, Lisa Renner (David) of Los Gatos, Danelle Allen of Livermore and Scott Weaver of San Jose; nine grandchildren Amanda, Nicolas, Brandi, Carissa, Shannon, Brendan, Justin, Bryce and Christopher. She is also survived by her brother Thaddeus Kopec (Ro) of Ocala, FL.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at Darling and Fischer Campbell Memorial Chapel in downtown Campbell (231 E Campbell Ave, Campbell). 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a remembrance donation to Timpany Center at San Jose State University, Timpany Center Donation.
