Marilyn JohnsonDecember 26, 1935 ~ October 18, 2017 (age 81)
Marilyn Schmidt Johnson passed away from Alzheimer’s/Dementia. She was the best mother one could ask for. She always supported her family when needed as well as everyone that was around her. Born in 1935, one of four children, she was the only girl. She was raised, like so many women back then, to be a mother and a wife. She cooked, cleaned, sewed and babysat at an early age, an age by today’s standards that would not allow her to walk alone to school; but she also wanted to do more. The 1st photo above was her in Business College and she spent time working in accounting for a liquor distributor. Sewing was her hobby and many ladies from Ruskin School appreciated her ability. She is survived by her husband Jerry, her three children: Dede, Debbie and Dan, grandmother of five, great grandma of three, and extended family. She was known best as "auntie" as there was not a child she could not care for. Goodbye Mom.
